As another wonderful school year comes to a close, we want to thank our incredible teachers, staff, students, families, and volunteers for your support throughout the year. Your time, generosity, and school spirit helped make this year truly special.

As we wrap up the 2025–2026 school year, we want to share just a snapshot of what your PTO has been able to accomplish this year in support of our amazing students, staff, and school community. This represents only a fraction of what we are able to do together thanks to your continued support and generosity.

Throughout the year, we celebrated student success by rewarding A and A/B Honor Roll students with special treats and providing over 1,000 popsicles for Field Day for both students and staff.

We were also proud to support classrooms and departments across campus, including:

Pre-K: Family Night supplies (refreshments, pizza, books, games), picnic bounce house, and sensory items for the Special Education classroom.
Kindergarten: Composition notebooks for all students.
1st Grade: Literacy Night refreshments, notebooks, 1st Grade rotation materials, Fiesta Parade paletas, and beach balls.
3rd Grade: Aquarium project, ramp-side garden, and rolling desk.
5th Grade: Safety glasses for science, class shirts, pool noodles, and Bahama Bucks SnoBlasts.
Spanish Department: Classroom project materials and paletas for all classes.
Physical Education: Small trampolines, an inflatable Gaga pit, and fidget toys.
Counseling Department: Meditation garden enhancements and food for the SEL event.
KCub News: T-shirts for student broadcasters.

In addition, every student received a book through our book vending machine program, along with house color shirts to celebrate our school community and special snacks during house color lunches. We also provided holiday gifts for all students and staff, as well as Purple Up gifts honoring our military-connected students and their strength and resilience. We also provided every student with a shirt to wear during our annual Fun Run Fundraiser, and purchased each ramp with an outdoor storage bin with various balls to enjoy! 

We are incredibly proud of all we’ve been able to accomplish this year and so grateful to our Cougar Cub families. Your support makes everything we do possible, and we are honored to serve this amazing school community.

During the month of May, we wrapped up our Cougar Cub Fun Run by celebrating our top fundraising classes with some well-earned Class vs. Class reward parties! Thanks to the incredible support of our Cougar Cub families, students enjoyed popsicle parties, donuts and dog adoptions, and pizza parties as they celebrated their hard work and fundraising success.

We are so grateful for every donation made to our PTO. Your generosity allows us to continue supporting our students, staff, and school through programs, events, and special opportunities throughout the year. We truly have a special community of families and children, and we are honored to play a part in helping make their elementary school experience memorable. Thank you for your continued support of Cougar Cub PTO!

As part of our Cougar Cub Fun Run celebration, we also want to recognize our incredible teachers who went above and beyond throughout the fundraiser. Our teachers helped keep the momentum going by sharing reminders with families, encouraging participation, and even rallying support from their own friends and families to help their classes succeed.

We were excited to celebrate the top 10 classrooms with the highest donations by surprising those teachers with special appreciation baskets as a small thank-you for their hard work and enthusiasm. Congratulations to Ms. Soliz, Mr. McGrath, Ms. Taylor, Ms. Schiebel, Mrs. Arriaga, Ms. Laney, Mrs. Ware, Ms. Romero, Ms. Barnard, and Ms. Dryden!

We are so grateful for the dedication of our amazing staff. Their support and school spirit play a huge role in making our PTO events successful, and we truly appreciate everything they do for our Cougar Cubs each and every day.

Teacher Appreciation Week was a total hit this year! During the week of May 4th–8th, our PTO team had so much fun celebrating the incredible teachers and staff who make our Cougar Cub community shine. We are beyond grateful for everything they do each and every day to support, inspire, and care for our students.

Each day was filled with treats and surprises, including a Yogurt Bar, Breakfast Tacos, Charcuterie Cups, a Dirty Soda Bar, and a Concessions Table—because our staff definitely deserved to be spoiled! We also loved bringing some extra fun with our “Before They Were Stars!” display, featuring childhood photos of our amazing staff that had everyone smiling and guessing.

It was a joyful week of appreciation, laughter, and gratitude for the heart of our school. We are so lucky to have such a dedicated and outstanding staff!

We wrapped up the school year with an absolutely unforgettable Glow Dance for our Cougar Cub students and families! The night was filled with high energy, glowing lights, music, laughter, and nonstop dancing as our school community came together for one last celebration before summer break.

Families enjoyed time together on the dance floor, shared treats, and made lasting memories while celebrating the end of an incredible year. The excitement and school spirit were truly shining bright all night long!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, participated, and helped make the event such a fun and joyful success. We loved seeing our Cougar Cub community come together for one final hoorah to close out the year in the best way possible!
