Thanks to our amazing PTO and dedicated volunteers, fun holiday gifts were purchased, assembled, and handed out to every student and staff member at Fort Sam Houston Elementary! Their time, energy, and generosity helped spread so much joy across our campus. We are incredibly thankful for each and every volunteer who made this special surprise possible—our school community wouldn’t be the same without you! 💙🐾

🍿 Popcorn Fridays Once a month, volunteers help pop and bag popcorn so every student can enjoy this fun (and tasty!) PTO treat.
🎨 House Color Lunches Volunteers assist during lunchtime as students celebrate their house colors and the positive character traits they represent. It’s a high-energy, joyful way to support school spirit!
🏅 Student Awards We’re looking for helping hands this week to assist with student awards. Volunteers help keep things running smoothly while we celebrate our Cougar Cubs and their accomplishments!
As a thank-you to our incredible staff who joined the PTO this school year, we held a special drawing—and the prize was lunch for them and a fellow Cougar Cub friend! 🎉 Over the last couple of weeks, the PTO was thrilled to treat five lucky winners to lunch. Congratulations to Mrs. Arriaga, Ms. Sultan, Ms. Lange, Mrs. Brieden, and Ms. Mares! Thank you to all our staff members for supporting the PTO and for everything you do for our Cougar Cubs every day. 💙🐾

💚💛 Cougar Cub PTO Update! 💛💚
Prior to winter break, our former PTO President relocated out of the district. At Friday’s General meeting, we were excited to move forward and officially vote in, and welcome our new PTO leadership!
👏 Jennifer Frame was voted in as PTO President 👏 Joseph Shellhart was voted in as 1st Vice President
We’re looking forward to continuing our work together in support of our students, staff, and families. With some BIG events on the horizon—👟 📚 we’re ready to make the rest of the school year a great one.
