Fall Fest

Our Fall Fest committee has been very busy preparing for this event! Fall Fest is a PTO-facilitated event, with 100% of profits going directly back to the students! Here's how it works: Each grade level runs a booth(s) with various activities that cost a pre-determined number of tickets. Tickets are purchased by families for 50 cents each, and are then used to participate in said activities. Each booth keeps 100% of the value of the tickets (i.e., a booth earns 400 tickets, which equals $200). Teachers then use these funds for classroom improvements, end of year parties, etc.

This is a great cause and fun family experience! We hope you'll all join us this Thursday for a great time with a lot of activities for students and families. We look forward to sharing photos from the event in our next edition.

Did You Know...?

One way PTO supports students and teachers is through classroom grants. Grants may be requested from an individual teacher or an entire grade level.

This month, kindergarten received almost 200 whiteboards, markers, and erasers from our grant program. These whiteboards will benefit every kinder student in our school. We're happy to be able to support our students and teachers in their learning endeavors.

This wouldn't be possible without YOUR support! From membership to fundraisers to donating items for events, you are directly impacting all of our students and staff. You are making a difference and we are so thankful for your support!

PTO's First Ever Movie Night

Join us for this FREE community event on Friday, November 15th! Feel free to bring blankets or pillows and get comfy while we watch Inside Out 2 in the FSHE cafeteria. Bring your own dinner or pre-order a pizza or Raising Cane's (pre-orders will be taken about a week before the event). Snacks and refreshments will also be available for purchase.

Doors open at 5:30 pm, movie begins at 6 pm.

Sneak Peek: New Spirit Wear Designs

You asked for it, and it's finally here! We have a brand new t-shirt for our FSHE families. This shirt will make its debut at Fall Fest. We will have very limited stock on hand, but will be taking orders for this design with a delivery time of about two weeks.

The new shirt design comes in both youth and adult sizes, in dark gray (pictured here) and indigo. Youth sizes $14, adult sizes $16.

Recent Events

Our student/teacher appreciated committee spoiled our students at the end of September with freshly popped popcorn. Our wonderful volunteers helped us pop and bag popcorn for over 800 students! A very big thank you to them!

October's house color lunch celebrated blue house and the character trait of trustworthiness. Blue house students got to sit on the cafeteria stage and enjoy snacks provided by the PTO.

Our family membership drive/ice cream contest was a smashing success! Because of all of you, we've quadrupled our family memberships! That means more funds to spend on free books for students, classroom grants, field trips, student awards, and so much more! Ice cream and popsicle parties took place on October 4th.

The book vending machine has been busy, with pre-k, kinder, and SPED classes having already visited and received their free book. Like last year, every student will receive a free book from the book vending machine this year. Books are purchased with profits from our annual book fair.

Volunteer Opportunities

Book Vending Machine- Ongoing

Students visit our book vending machine to choose one free book to keep. We're currently looking for volunteers to help with 1st and 2nd grade classes.

November House Color Lunch- Friday, November 11th

We ask volunteers to help us monitor students during lunchtime for this special monthly event where students sit with other students who share their house color, rather than with their class.

Student Awards- Monday, November 4th & Thursday, November 7th

Now that the first quarter is over, it's time to celebrate our honor roll students! This quarter, honor roll students will receive a certificate for a free kids meal from a local restaurant and be invited to attend a create-your-own trail mix bar. To fill out certificates or help with the trail mix bar, sign up below.
